Nanotechnology Engineering, what's that?
Well... the program focused mostly on materials science, chemistry, physics and also introduced us to concepts in biology and medicine.
I learned a lot about a lot.
Spent 8 months as a visiting scholar working with some of the top scientists in the country. By the time it was over, I was a seasoned researcher and a published author!
Based in Silicon Valley, SpinPunch is a start-up creating a platform for developing awesome in-browser games. I helped design and produce their facebook games played by hundreds of thousands of people.
With a BASc. in Nanotechnology Engineering in hand, I moved to Toronto to start my new adventure. (But, of course, not before travelling for a bit)
Completed a 9 week Web Development bootcamp focusing on both back-end and front-end development. Beyond learning a ton about web development, I also discovered what I was really passionate about - creating awesome web apps.
